Electronic Claims System
Submitting claims
electronically is an active part of PracticeMaker®.
Error checking is performed in an attempt to catch errors
specifically
for electronic claims submission (ECS).
Four separate modules (ECS
Control, ECS
Module, ECS Analysis and ECS
Creator)
are used to
create the upload file (named by you each time it is created) which is
sent to
an insurance carrier via modem or internet. Once
this file is created you just dial into your insurance carrier, or
contact via the web, and upload the
file. Specific information on how
to dial into your carrier will be supplied as each carrier is approved!
